SI unit of temperature is Kelvin, it was named after the scientist William Thomson, the first Lord Kelvin. To specify the relationship between gass pressure and temperature, we use the kelvin scale. It states:
The temperature of gas increases or decreases as the temperature in Kelvin increases or decreases.
Due to this reason, this scale is considered the standard scale and scientists use this scale for scientific calculations as well because it is considered more accurate.
In the SI unit of measurement, the Kelvin scale is the base of measurement of temperature.
It is defined as that fraction of temperature at which three states of the water (Solis, liquid, and gas) coexist with each other continuously.
